This cake was for an 80th Birthday in which the client wanted a very personalized cake. They wanted a cake that not only captured the interests of the birthday girl but also went with the party theme of a Hawaiian Luah The birthday girl was the clients mother, who loved to knit and was from England. She loved to wear pearls and drink tea, and the party was also a family reunion just for her. I was very excited to come up with an idea to incorporate all of the interests. This was the result and the Birthday Girl was very thrilled.
This was the talk of the whole party. Christina did a wonderful job with the tuff job she had to do. She was great at getting all the hobbies that the birthday girl loved to do, a long with the theam of the party. The only problem was that we had to cut it.
